Context
Hotel Aurora Towers engaged CSA Partners Ltd. for ongoing interior design services to refurbish the entire 70-suite hotel in phases
Concept
Patell Batliwala & Associates (now a part of CSA Partners Ltd.) provided interior design services along with certain international consultants for the main Taj Hotel. The new Intercontinental tower followed the conceptual sketches put forth by Daraius Batliwala with the final iteration being the rectangular plan parti. Deep balconies and Gothic Saracenic elements punctuate the facade of this grand edifice which with the main Taj Hotel continues to be a landmark in Mumbai
